Control of Willemsspoortunnel to a higher level

Yunex Traffic is renewing the control system of the tunnel technical installations (TTI) in the Willemsspoortunnel on behalf of ProRail. A new stationary train detection system is also being implemented. The project takes the availability, safety and efficiency of the rail tunnel to a higher level.

Renovation Piet Heintunnel in full swing

Yunex Traffic and Heijmans are renovating the Piet Hein tunnel in alliance with the municipality of Amsterdam. The tunnel controls, installations and systems will be renewed, expanded and adapted to the new safety legislation. This is done on the basis of an integral design.
Each section of 100 meters will have its own control box. Due to this modular approach, only one section and not the entire tunnel has to be switched off during maintenance, service and repair. This leads to less disruption to traffic. This method will become a blueprint for future tunnel renovations.

High-tech central control for weir ensemble Nederrijn and Lek

The renovated Nederrijn en Lek barrage ensemble was completed at the end of December 2020. The weirs and locks in Driel, Hagestein and Amerongen can continue to perform their tasks safely and reliably in the coming decades. Rijkswaterstaat awarded the Design & Construct contract to Yunex Traffic as main contractor within a consortium with Soldidd Steel Structures for steel construction and DEME Infra for hydraulic engineering work.

Amsterdam metro network ready for the future

In alliance form, the Amsterdam Metro and Tram (MET), Municipal Transport Company Amsterdam (GVB) and Yunex Traffic have prepared the Amsterdam metro network for the future.
The North/South line was opened in Amsterdam in July 2018, for which Yunex Traffic realized the central control installation (CBI) and the station systems. Subsequently, the existing metro network was modernized and integrated into the CBI of the North/South line.
All stations are now linked to the central operating, monitoring and control installation of the North/South line. As a result, the operators of the Amsterdam metro network no longer have to work with different platforms. This is simpler, increases the overview, prevents errors and thus contributes to safe and trouble-free metro traffic.

Oosterscheldekering

Talking Bikes

Cycling is healthy and good for the environment. In order to create optimal infrastructure and mobility solutions for cyclists, governments need insight into our cycling behaviour. In collaboration with Tracefy, Yunex Traffic helps municipalities and provinces to make the right choices by enriching bicycle and ride data into useful information.
