Yunex Traffic has added two new solutions to its proven Plus+ range, with the ST950S and ST950SP traffic controllers having been developed specifically for small intersections and pedestrian crossings.

As part of National Manufacturing Day, Yunex Traffic's Poole-based factory opened its doors to visiting dignitaries and parties of school children. The visitors all had an opportunity to see behind the scenes of the company's factory, the global manufacturing base for Yunex Traffic worldwide.

First year of Birmingham Clean Air Zone operation sees air quality improvements
14 June 2022:
Today marks the first anniversary of Birmingham's Clean Air Zone (CAZ) entering full operation, with the enforcement scheme having been designed and installed by Yunex Traffic. Since the CAZ was implemented, there has been a significant fall in the percentage of the most polluting vehicles entering the city centre, with air quality in central Birmingham improving as a result.

Yunex Traffic awarded Sheffield Clean Air Zone contract

Yunex Traffic has been awarded a contract to design, supply and install a Clean Air Zone (CAZ) ANPR camera monitoring and enforcement solution across Sheffield City Centre. This contract follows the successful implementation of schemes in London, Birmingham and Portsmouth.

Yunex Traffic aims to change this in the coming years and is committed to achieving a 25% women's quota in management positions by the end of fiscal year 2025. We have launched a training program during the week of International Women's Day 2022, equipping employees with a toolkit to reflect on and address unconscious bias.

Enforcement cameras installed as part of Buckinghamshire Council trial

As part of a trial by Buckinghamshire Council to help improve safety and accessibility, Yunex Traffic has supplied and installed enforcement cameras at three locations in the county. Two of the company's LaneWatch ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) cameras have been sited at locations in High Wycombe and one in Marlow.
New strategic owner for Yunex Traffic
17 January 2022:
Siemens Mobility today signed an agreement to divest Yunex Traffic, the international road traffic business, to Atlantia S.p.A. The Managing Board and Supervisory Board of Siemens AG have approved the planned transaction. The purchase price is €950 million (enterprise value).
