Welcome to our first sustainability month!
The climate crisis is one of the greatest challenges of our time. Causing 20 percent of global emissions, the transport sector is one of the biggest polluters. When we look at our cities, this is hardly surprising. Traffic gridlock and air pollution are part of everyday life in cities around the world. We are standing up to these uncomfortable facts and developing solutions to minimize the environmental impact and air pollution caused by road traffic and preserve the quality of life in our cities for future generations.
What are these solutions and how do they contribute to climate protection? We’ll be answering these and many other questions about more sustainable mobility in the coming weeks. Welcome to our first Sustainability Month!
4 weeks, 4 topics
Over the course of the coming month, we will highlight one topic per week that brings us one step closer to our goal of making our streets and cities greener. We’ll be taking a close look at current developments as well as looking at groundbreaking solutions that will positively move us into the future.
Week 1 – All Eyes on EV
E-mobility is one of the most important pillars on the way to more sustainable mobility. But e-mobility can only work if we also create the corresponding charging infrastructure and maintain them. Our product experts will show you how we can ensure this!
Week 2 – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Zero Waste pursues the goal of living a life in which as little waste as possible is produced and raw materials are not wasted. We at Yunex Traffic also strive for this goal – and this week we’ll shed a light on how we do it!
Week 3 – Decarbonizing Mobility
Emissions from vehicles release particles into the air that cause air pollution, especially in cities. How can we counteract this? This week, we go in search of solutions to decarbonize mobility.
Week 4 – Better traffic management, better air
WHO data show that almost all the global population (99%) breathe air that exceeds WHO limits. With an intelligent traffic management, traffic emissions can be lowered and thus the air quality improved. Stay tuned to find out more!
