Yunex Traffic appoints Carlos Andrés Rodríguez as Managing Director for Latin America
Colombia, 1 June 2026. Yunex Traffic is pleased to announce the appointment of Carlos Andrés Rodríguez as Managing Director for Latin America, a decision that reflects the company’s strong commitment to sustainable growth, innovation, and the transformation of mobility across the region.
In this role, Carlos will lead the regional strategy with the objective of strengthening Yunex Traffic’s presence in Latin America, driving expansion in both established markets and those with high growth potential. His leadership will focus on building strong partnerships, accelerating the adoption of intelligent mobility solutions, and delivering long-term value for highways, cities and citizens.
With more than 15 years of experience within the organization, Carlos has built an outstanding career grounded in customer proximity, technical expertise, and a holistic understanding of the business. He began his journey implementing key traffic light projects in Colombia and, over the years, has taken on critical roles in business development, leading regional commercial initiatives in ITS and mass transit systems. This combination of operational and strategic experience, together with his strong market knowledge, provides a solid foundation for his new role leading the Latin American markets and enables him to deeply understand the challenges and opportunities across the region.
As Managing Director, Carlos brings a clear vision: to contribute to more human-centered, efficient, and sustainable mobility, where technology serves as a key enabler of people’s well-being and urban development. He will focus on strengthening Yunex Traffic’s presence in major cities, expanding into complementary market segments, developing customer oriented solutions, and leveraging the company’s broad portfolio to drive long-term, sustainable growth.
